UCLA EURECA
Through the New Collaborative Initiatives Program, UCLA has received a grant, funded by the U.S. - Russia Foundation for Economic Advancement and Rule of Law (USRF) and administered by American Councils for International Education and the New Eurasia Foundation.
The goal of the EURECA program, which is aligned with the President’s bilateral cooperation treaty with Russia, is to partner the Russian National Research Universities with a US partner university to help build and strengthen the capacity of Russia’s NRU in developing University-based innovation and knowledge creation, and turning the discoveries into companies and commercial products, processes and services. UCLA has been paired with St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO).
